Since 1996, Dr. Hector Perez's entire career has been focusing on metabolic and bariatric surgery. Dr. Perez has studied at the University of Miami, in a medical internship with the Jackson Memorial Hospital. Completing the course, Dr. Perez spent time doing social service medicine in Xpichil, Cancun Roo. His residency was completed at the Regional Hospital in Mexico City in 2002 to 2006. Following his residency in general surgery, he graduated with honors in General Surgeon by the Mexican National University.
